Our Story

Auxiliary Plus was founded by Mike Acker, the bestselling author of Speak With No Fear and successful coach to leaders, communicators, and c-suite executives worldwide—from the United Arab Emirates to Singapore to the UK to Zambia to the US and Canada. He understands the unique stresses that these professionals face.

In the course of his work, many clients would ask, “Is there something I can take to help with my anxiety?” Because he isn’t a physician or psychiatrist, he steered clear of offering any medical or psychological advice but decided to do his research on natural supplements that provide specific benefits for today’s professionals.

“I thought back to 2016,” said Mike, “when I was leading a large non-profit, facing a major transition, and navigating multiple challenges. For the first time in my life, the stress became overwhelming, and I experienced a panic attack. Fortunately, it was an isolated event, and I didn’t need psychiatric care or prescription drugs. I just wanted something natural to take off the edge so I could focus on my work.”

Mike’s yearlong research brought him foremost to ashwagandha, also known as “Indian Ginseng.” In double-blind, placebo-controlled studies, it has been shown to reduce cortisol and anxiety levels, as well as offering many other health benefits. Seeing an opportunity to develop an herbal supplement tailored to his clients, he partnered with one of America’s top labs to develop the “Auxiliary Plus” line.

Why “Auxiliary”?

“Auxiliary” means to provide supplementary or additional help and support. That’s the purpose of our natural supplements—providing leaders and communicators with a bit of extra help so they can succeed.

Science and Tradition:

We at Auxiliary Plus are a little skeptical by nature—we’ve all heard the claims about miracle cures from some obscure root. That’s not what we’re about. We’re about finding non-pharmaceutical ingredients that have been tested and proven to enhance daily life in common sense ways.
